BIBLE FOR NEW OSM PRAYER ROOM: Dr. Bob Finley and Bill Bray dedicated a new Bible during an Open House for the new national headquarters office of OSM in June. "The written word of God is our rule and guide for doing foreign missions," said Bill during the celebration, "and so it is appropriate that we honor God's revelation to us during this grand re-opening of the office here in Charlottesville." The Overseas Students Mission was founded by Dr. Finley in 1953 and has been instrumental for 50 years in the development of the indigenous missions movement. (Photo by Jon Bray)

![]() ALMOST daily, potential friends and supporters of OSM ask me to define my vision for the future of this mission. Why is it unique? What are our plans and prayers for the future? What is our focus and goals moving toward 2020? Why is it so very worthy of urgently needed support? More specifically, why is it so critical to revitalize and expand OSM now – to assist emerging student missionary leaders? My answer is steeped in six decades of missionary history.
