2010 Focus Shifts to Reaching All

Nations by Native Missions

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The Bray Family Missionaries will focus their 2010 outreaches to supporting indigenous missions which take the gospel to all nations.

            This was the ultimate goal of our work last year with Overseas Students Mission, said Bill Bray, however in 2010 our efforts will focus on more immediate results. We are seeking to raise more support for existing missionaries to all nations rather than a long-term effort to recruit new indigenous missionaries as we did in 2009.

            The 2010 work will be done along three communications fronts, all based on the vision of Acts 1:8 and our Lord’s prophecies in scriptures about gospel outreach in passages including Mark 13:10, Matthew 24:14 and 28:18-20.

            First, we will work with Dr. Bob Finley at Christian Aid to cast a greater vision for indigenous missions and collect immediate aid for those in need. These workers are already on the front lines now, and need urgent assistance.

            Second, we will focus on new advertising outreaches to find more prayer partners and supporters for this great work of God’s love here in the USA. Even in these difficult times, it is still possible for the average American to support a full-time native missionary overseas.

            Third, we will help by praying the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers into the mission fields according to our Lord’s command in Matthew 9:38.
