Board Approves Campbell – “War On Cancer”
VIRGINIA (10-28-08) – The CIS Mission Board of Directors has approved Colin Campbell, chaplain with the “War on Cancer” in Charlottesville, as a special ministry project. The decision was ratified at a regular board meeting in October, 2008. The “War on Cancer” prayer ministry to the sick is the seventh mission project accepted for support by CIS, Inc. in 2008. Contributions and offerings for the work of Colin Campbell may be sent to CIS at P.O. Box 6511, Charlottesville, VA 22906 or given online at www.bray-missionaries.org. The other missions previously approved by CIS for 2008 include Asha Missionary Society (New Delhi), Barnabas Korea Mission (Seoul), Bray Family Missionaries with Overseas Students Mission (USA), Christ the Mighty God Mission Church (Athens), Frontline Ministries/Exodus Mandate (Columbia, SC), and the Howie and Debbie Campbell with Wisdom and Truth music ministry (USA). CIS, Inc. was formed in 1973 as a ministry to help churches and missions grow and develop. It was founded by Bill Bray, the President of Overseas Students Mission. Colin Campbell recently completed a post graduate internship at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville under the direction of the Rev. Moore. He has been well known as a leader of missions and prayer outreaches in Charlottesville for nearly 20 years. |
