For over 30 years Dr. Bray has used the YWAM Prayer and Planning Diary as a way to stay on track with his personal piety and as a prayer guide for the whole team. "Next to the Bible, this is the most life-changing devotional book I have ever used," says Dr. Bray. "It takes you right into the heart of Jesus for the lost world-it is like walking with God. Bray Missionary Team Plans Texas Reunion October 4

DALLAS – Friends, supporters and veterans of past overseas missions led by Bill and Ivy Bray of CIS Missions will gather October 4 for a celebration banquet here. The gala event will be held at the beautiful Marriot Dallas Fort Worth North hotel starting at 6:30 PM. The evening will be filled with testimonies, music and fellowship as friends gather around the Great Commission of Christ. Bill Bray has led short term missions to 65 countries. Some, like China, as many as 16 times! Texans have made many of these missions possible, helping to recue abandoned children, the destitute, the persecuted and the lost.

Reservations are needed as soon as possible. Friends and their guests can call 434-295-6488 or 227-0811 to reserve seats. The public is invited. Anyone interested in missions prayer and revival will find this evening to be a precious milestone in their lives, promises Bill.

Dr. Bill Bray, who is President of the Overseas Student Mission, will speak on the urgent need to raise up the next generation of indigenous missionaries from among the 700,000 overseas students currently on university-level campuses in the USA. Visit www.OSMission.org for a fuller picture.

“For our baby boomer generation, this is probably the most important single thing we will do in the years we have left – in fact, it just well be the most important legacy of our whole lives. We want anyone interested in the future of missions today to feel welcome.

“Some are calling this the ‘Lost Generation’ but we believe the Lord can rescue them from the media delusions and Internet web fantasies which bind so many. In fact, it is already happening. We are seeing thousands of new missionaries sent out to reach all nations. Since this is the key to the return of our Lord, we know it must happen – and everyone of us has a part.”

His banquet topic will be “Slaying the Seven Giants of our Age.” Bray consulted with Gospel for Asia for over 10 years before joining Christian Aid Mission and OSM in 1991. He came to Dallas to work here full-time from 1988 to 1991 at the invitation of K. P. Yohannan, author of million copy bestseller, The Coming Revolution in World Missions.

He has served the cause of indigenous missions for 41 years. “We would have never made it without the help and support of so many friends in Texas and the DFW metroplex. We love Texans are planning on making many new friends on this mission trip,” says Ivy.
