Two Great Holiday Book Offers THE volunteers who serve at the CIS Mission Book Table Ministry are offering two free gift books this season as part of their 2008 holiday ministry to needy students, supporters and the whole body of Christ. The first is Touching Godliness Through Submission by K. P. Yohannan, founder of Gospel for Asia. This new book is bound to become a devotional classic. “I think this is just the message our next generation of Americans needs most right now,” says Bill Bray, newly appointed president of Overseas Students Mission. A contribution of $10 or more is suggested for the new book. K. P. Yohannan is the native missionary author of The Coming Revolution in World Missions which has now reached over two million copies in print. “It has done more than any other book in the last 100 years to change the face of missions,” says Bill Bray. The second title is also a classic Christmas and New Year’s gift that every Christian student, mission leader or world Christian should work through each year. It is the 2009 YWAM Prayer and Planning Diary. “This is a must have,” says Bill Bray. “Next to my Bible, this is the most important tool in my devotional life—I use it every day.” Normally $16.99 in Christian bookstores, a gift of $20 or more is suggested for each copy received to help cover shipping and handling. It is available in blue, black, green or burgundy while supplies last. Both books are offered free as part of the mission’s ministry, and can be ordered on line. Call Ivy Bray at the national office for quantity orders, 434-295-6488.
