Senior Missionary Couple Available to

Assist and Challenge Local Churches

COLUMBUS, GA – Georgia-based missionaries Dr. Bill and Ivy Bray have led mission teams for 41 years to distant mission fields in Africa, China, Europe, Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Thailand, Russia, and Ukraine.

Now they are consulting and assisting local churches and pastors who want to expand their aid to indigenous pastors, charities, churches and emergency relief efforts at home and abroad. The Brays provide a mixture of motivation, training, encouragement and consultation in simple, easy to learn and implement steps.

“Christ called every Christian to be a missionary,” says Dr. Bray. “His last command must be our first priority!  This includes doing regular missions both at home and overseas— what the Book of Acts refers to as Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts.”

The Brays are available for missions banquets, day-long missionary challenges, prayer meetings, clubs and church groups of all kinds.  They offer everything from “Five Minutes for Missions” appearances to overnight retreat programs.

When they come to speak they offer a special book table featuring a selection of classic devotional and missionary books to help families function as missionaries to their communities and the world.

Dr. Bray began his missionary career while still a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago leading student teams to Canada, Mexico, Spain and inner-city USA. He began with street teams that went into jails, hospitals, schools and other public institutions.

In 1966 he went on his first overland mission to India via Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan. Since then he has traveled to over 65 countries—including 28 for World Vision International.

Always, the emphasis has been on going only where invited by indigenous leaders and serving in areas in which they are requesting help.

To arrange for the Brays to come to challenge your church or group, call 434-227-0811 or visit their website at www.bray-missionaries.org
