NOV-DEC ‘08 CALL TO PRAYER From the Bray Family Missionaries Dear Prayer Partners, Pastors and Friends: As you can see from the daily prayer guide on the reverse side of this page, God’s economic judgment on the United States is much on our minds as we end this first, wonderful year of missionary ministry with Overseas Students Mission. Like so many other non-profit organizations, we are focusing on ending our 2008 calendar year in the black. This means planning for fiscal responsibility in 2009 ... working hard to underwrite the 2009 budget ... calling on leaders, pastors and church missionary committees to include us as a line item in their 2009 budgets ... finding supporters and sponsors. Praise the Lord for all he has done to give the victory. · Who would have known as we began 2008 that Dr. Bob Finley would ask me to take over the presidency of the OSM? Or that that we would expand the mission into Chicago and Dallas during our first nine months on the task? · Who would have known we would have such victory over the iron-fisted demons that the dark forces of hell sent against us during my fist months of leadership? The enemy has tried everything against us to no avail. The Lord is our strength and shield. ·

it in our beautiful new facilities on the old Christian Aid Mission campus in We have so much to give thanks for this holiday season! What a great Thanksgiving, Advent and Christmas season this is for us and the whole missionary team.

from among international students and visitors. DAY 4 – FIRSTBORN OF THE DEAD, supply the needs of John Henry and our other Internet
and World Wide Web ministry volunteers and contractors. May all our staff
become successful as virtual Internet missionaries. DAY 5 – KING OF GLORY, bless the new president of the DAY 6 – KING OVER ALL THE EARTH, use Bill Bray and our publications staff to write good
material for publications and educational materials, magazines, websites and
especially book teaching resources. DAY 7 – JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS, help us to prepare balanced, wise budgets for the 2009
calendar year. DAY 8 – LIGHT OF MEN, provide us with all kinds of victorious volunteers to
be friendship families, mentors, disciple makers and advisors to the
international students and visitors you bring our way. DAY 9 – LIGHT OF THE WORLD, give us favor and support with partnership ministries
and indigenous support agencies among the members of ACMI, COSIM, FSTML and
prayer movements on every campus. DAY 10 – LORD OF LORDS, please prosper and multiply the number of effective,
righteous prayer partners who support this mission through intercession.
Increase the subscribers to our daily, weekly and monthly prayer letters. DAY 11 – LORD OF PEACE,
increase the number of partner agencies and churches that work with us. DAY 12 – MY MAKER, help
us to locate a balanced support team for the new year that includes monthly
donors, major donors, church missions committees and partner agencies. DAY 13 – MIGHTY GOD, defeat
the iron fists that threaten the support and success of this mission. DAY 14 –
MORNING STAR, help Bill and Ivy to
maintain good health, lose weight, and walk in strength. DAY 15 – ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER, prosper and bless those who support indigenous
missions and especially those who support OSM and our missionary partners. May they have much to give from willing hearts. DAY 16 – MESSIAH, we pray that people whom you have especially blessed
this year will hear about this ministry and make large, end-of-year
contributions to the missions and missionaries we serve. DAY 17 – PRINCE OF LIFE, may many case loads of books and media products go
forth from the missionary book table ministry. May more church doors open to
this ministry and new volunteers join in this part of the outreach. DAY 18 – SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD, please enable and use us to reach all nations with the
good news. May every hindrance in our
lives and circumstances be overcome for your glory. DAY 19 – SHEPHERD, bless and prosper our missionary projects and

the Father by being born as one of us. May we learn submission and obedience,
following in your steps. DAY 26 – REDEEMER, thank you for going to the cross to die in our places
so that our sins might be forgiven, and help us to help those who are taking
this good news to all nations. DAY 27 – PRINCE OF PEACE, we pray that radical Hindus, Muslims and other
jihadists will not succeed in their efforts to intimidate, persecute, rape and
murder Christians. We pray for mercy on all the persecuted this day. DAY 28 – SON OF THE MOST HIGH GOD, bless, protect and prosper our missionaries in the
