The CIS Mission Board of Directors has approved Colin Campbell, chaplain with the “War on Cancer” in Charlottesville, as a special ministry project. The decision was ratified at a regular board meeting in October, 2008. [read more]

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The president of Overseas Students Mission, Bill Bray, is calling American Christians to share their Thanksgiving with over 624,000 international students. “Many of these students come from societies that have never experienced the joy of Thanksgiving and other American holidays,” says Bray. “This program gives them a chance to meet American Christians in their homes, make friends, and share in the faith experience that created these holidays – and has done so much to shape our value system in this country.” [read more]

BIBLE FOR NEW OSM PRAYER ROOM: Dr. Bob Finley and Bill Bray dedicated a new Bible during an Open House for the new national headquarters office of OSM in June. "The written word of God is our rule and guide for doing foreign missions," said Bill during the celebration, "and so it is appropriate that we honor God's revelation to us during this grand re-opening of the office here in Charlottesville." CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Brays and CIS have received the largest single financial challenge grant in the history of their ministry, just as Dr. Bray has accepted a new call to reach overseas students in the USA. The $50,000 challenge grant will do a lot to help launch their expanded outreach to indigenous missions as current supporters respond and match it. [read more]

COLUMBUS, GA (February 4, 2007) - In the first two weeks of the Philippine Mercy Mission, the team distributed emergency aid to 67 village pastors and funding grants to make temporary repairs to 16 churches. Dr. Bill Bray revealed the progress during a one night stopover here on his way to Chicago. [read more]
