A New Prayer Priority for Monday and Tuesday, 28 February and 1 March
GOD OF MERCY, be with Bro Bill and editor John Lindner as they continue to interview native missionaries in the hard core Hindu villages of Rajasthan -- the very areas where Bro Bill began his missionary career in India 40 years ago. May their articles be used to radically increase support to native missionaries reaching out to the Dalit mass movements toward Christ spreading in India. Pray for protection and sweeping movements of the Holy Spirit to empower and supply this remarkable church growth movement. All this we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Monday Prayer Priority, 28 February
GOD OF ANGEL ARMIES, remove every obstacle to Bill and the communication team as they plan to travel today into the Tsunami-ravaged areas of South India. May connections and schedules work well and may every need be met. Give great strength to Samuel Thomas, John Lindner and the rest of the group as they follow-up the vows and decisions made over the weekend at the indigenous missionary graduation and commissioning ceremonies. Use us to start many new Hope Centers for orphans and fatherless children among the sea gypsies and fishing villages on the islands and coastal areas of India. In Jesus Name, AMEN

Weekend Prayer Priority, 26-27 February
LIVING WORD, who gave us your written word with which to study and approve ourselves unto you, pour down your mighty blessings on the 5000 native missionaries graduating from Emmanuel Seminary on Saturday and being commissioned here on Sunday in Kota. Use Bro. Bill and John Lindner as their media team photographs and reports the events and as Bro Bill speaks and leads in prayer from the platform. Protect the missionaries as they go out from here to assignments among the fatherless and widows, lepers and to 100 million of the poorest of the poor in India. All this we pray in Jesus' Name. AMEN

Friday Prayer Priority, 25 February
GOD OFTHE WHOLE EARTH, restore and renew the vision you gave Brother Bill for India 40 years ago when he first visited Rajesthan. Lord, show him your will and plan for the people of God there. Be with him today as he and his media team meet with the cabinet-level Commissioner of Minority Affiars for the Central Government of India who is there to mediate with the anti-Christian forces that have been attacking delegates to the Annual Pastor's Conference of Emmanuel Ministries this week. Touch his heart as he visits Hopegivers International orphanages and meets with Archbishop M.A. Thomas. Give him favor as he meets with Samuel Thomas later this weekend to discuss an offer for expanded co-operation with Christian Aid. All this we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Thursday Prayer Priority, 24 February
HEAVENLY FATHER, you who created these hundreds of thousands of street children abandoned here in Bombay, India, please use Brother Bill and John Lindner to tell their story to the world today. May they minister to Brother Matthew Matai and his staff at the Bombay Street Rescue Center. Hear our prayers as we take the train all night from here to Kota for the largest commissioning ceremony for new native missionaries in the history of India. All this we ask in Jesus' mighty Name. AMEN

Tuesday Prayer Priority, 22 February
LORD GOD OUR FORTRESS AND HIDING PLACE, we unite today to pray for the safety and protection of Bill Bray's two-man photojournalism team as they fly to join Samuel Thomas and the Hopegivers management team already in Kota, Rajesthan. Station your angel guardians around the Emmanuel Seminary graduates and missions staff traveling to North India for what could be the biggest native missionary commissioning and graduation ceremony in the history of India. Help Indian Christians show your love and salvation to leaders of fanatical anti-Christian militant mobs who have killed one indigenous missionary in the last two weeks and attacked almost 250 other Indian delegates on their way to this huge All-India Church Planters Conference. Shelter everyone under your wings. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, AMEN.

Monday Prayer Priority, 21 February
MIGHTY LORD, Builder of the Body of Christ, we call upon you to make tonight's 40th Anniversary Victory Dinner a powerful night of praise and forward movement for the Bray Family Missionaries. We pray that you alone will be glorified and that we will cement ties both with those present and those who cannot come but who must join in materially and spiritually from a distance. Through tonight's celebration, we pray that the remaining costs of the Operation Africa Child 2004 mission will be covered and much more support raised for missions to India and China. Most of all, we pray that tonight will begin a new era of obedience, rebuilding, and transition into the future. Help everyone involved to participate expectantly with the faith of Abraham. May we have ears tonight to hear your call. All this we ask in Jesus' precious name. AMEN

Friday (Weekend) Prayer Priority, 18 February
REFUGE FROM THE STORM, protect us as deadlines beat upon us and upon the whole team this day and throughout the weekend. May we finalize the guest list for Monday night's "Victory in Jesus" celebration in Charlottesville today as we wait upon you to bring together the right people for this historic night. We also ask strength to complete all the last minute deadlines and details for that event and for Bill's departure for India on the following day. Be with us as we hold important talks with Dr. Bob Finley and Axel Lanausse on Friday, 3 p.m. at Christian Aid headquarters and with my own Board of Directors on Monday at noon. And we remember to pray for Dr. Samuel Thomas and the team members already in India working on meetings with Indian officials for Dr. Joseph Lam's coming, and for the graduation of 5000 native missionaries in Kota. You Lord are in charge of all the details of our lives and we rest in you to accomplish your purposes through us today and throughout the weekend. AMEN

Thursday Prayer Priority, 17 February
GOD OF WONDER, GOD OF MIGHT, be with Ivy and Bill as they return to Charlottesville today from California to begin the last minute countdown to Bill's 40th Anniversary "Victory in Jesus" Dinner next Monday night. Be with Paul Caratti and the audiovideo team as they prepare the Operation Africa Child 2004 flash presentation, with the pianist and music leaders as they prepare songs, with Axel and Bill as they prepare their reports and for Ivy and Melynda as they work on the facility, program and food. Be with the board of directors and our support team members as they invite their friends to come and hear the Bray Family vision for 2005. All this we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Friday Prayer Priority, 11 February
CHIEF SHEPHERD, all the glory is yours and therefore we join in prayer to ask you to assist Bill Bray to glorify you in his life and actions today. Bless the work of all the staff and the Board of Directors of Nora Lam Chinese Ministries as they meet today. As we celebrate the Chinese New Year with a party tonight at the home of Ruth Lam, show your mighty power on behalf of the Lam Family and the Bray Family. May our words and actions show everyone that you are the living God who cares for your servants. We praise you Lord because our hope is in You! AMEN

Thursday Prayer Priority, 10 February
ALL IN ALL, we unite to pray today for Bill Bray as he meets with Ruth Lam and the Nora Lam Chinese Ministries Team for two days of intensive planning and their Annual Board of Directors meeting. Lord use our efforts to help Chinese believers reach over a billion souls for Christ, and especially to rescue more suffering children and encourage the underground church in China. Help us make correct, high-integrity choices. In Jesus' Name we pray all this. AMEN

Wednesday 40-day Prayer Priority, 9 February
LORD JESUS, BISHOP OF ALL SOULS, bless Bill Bray and his missionary team as they travel to India with Hopegivers during this holy season to visit the Tsunami survivors and join in the commissioning of 5000 native missionaries to go to the villages and seashores of that great land. In all this, enable Brother Bray in trust and confidence to place before you all his relations and spiritual burdens. Refine his heart and motives as you do all of us who join with the Bray Family Support Team in praying for this intention throughout Lent 2005. In Jesus' Name, AMEN

Tuesday Prayer Priority, 8 February
Joining in faith with Bill Bray and other Prayer Partners around the world, please pray: "LORD JESUS, help Bill Bray to walk in meekness and humilty this week as he bears his testimony to the leading of the Holy Spirit in his life. Give him favor as he speaks and plans with the Management and Marketing Teams of World Children's Fund and the other missions and charities involved. Spread peace and forgiveness where there is pain and hurt, and help us all to celebrate future possible relationships and service to you and one another. Lord, may you get the glory through this time of transition and may your will be done in the life of the Bray Family Missionaries and all involved. AMEN"

As my plane glides into Silicon Valley, the true Sodom and Gomorah of our American age, I can understand how poor Lot was attracted to those rich, perverse and successful cities on the biblical plains. There is a wonderful energy here, and praise the Lord that God has a people for His name in the San Francisco Bay Area -- but living for the Lord in this citadal of sensual humanism is an incredible challenge. How does one become a successful testimony for Christ in this center of such ignorant pride? It isn't just the sexual perversion and gender confusion here which shocks the visitor.

Like the Sodomites in the Bible, immorality in San Jose is not limited to the casual acceptance of ungodly relationships. There is behind it all a worship here of material things, science and technology. How does one get through to these beautiful people who believe that given enough capital they can create anything? And how does one get past the superficial entertainment culture that puts such a high value on appearance, dress, food and wine? I love the energy here and the good that is being done in this place, and I love the people here who are searching for something more -- and I just hope that we can help some of them find the true way to God before they are destroyed. It is no surprise that the Golden Gate bridge is the most popular suicide center in America. After this trip to San Jose, I probably won't be coming out to the West Coast as much as I have for the past several years, but I hope that I never lose my love for the poor souls that are bound here in Silicon Valley culture -- unable to escape from the Hotel California.

Monday Prayer Priority, 7 February
LORD JESUS, reveal your wisdom to Bill Bray, Dr. Joseph Lam, Ruth Kendrick and the entire World Children's Fund management team as they travel to California and gather today in San Jose. Guide in deliberations and decision-making, particularly regarding future ministry partnerships with faith-based Christian missions and outreaches. As the leaders travel and conference, bless the staff and volunteers who work to meet communications deadlines at home. All this we pray in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Weekend Prayer Priorities, 4-6 February
LORD GOD OUR REFUGE in times of stress, when we run to you we are not afraid! Today we pray for that peace which comes when our minds are focused on you and your ways. Keep us and our leaders from being double-minded and unstable in all our ways. Give us wisdom in our negotiations, keep us from error, and the strength to keep our promises even when they are less than wise. We especially pray for Samuel Thomas, Axel Lanausee, Bob Finley and Bill Bray that they might all be sure-footed. Keep their feet upon the rock and away from the slimey clay of this world's values and false wisdom. Lead our clergy in church meetings this weekend and each of us in our family fun and fellowship. Give us time to be accountability to one another and grace in correction of one another. In Jesus' Name, we submit this prayer, AMEN.

Wednesday Prayer Priority, 3 February
LORD JESUS CHRIST, grant us a miracle in time. Help Bill and Ivy to stretch it, remain focused on their goals, set priorities and meet the daily deadlines that characterize the work during this most busy month. Especially help Bill to make the right calls and use him to challenge six friends of the ministry to be table sponsors for the "Victory in Jesus" celebration dinner February 21 in Charlottesville. Grant this for the sake of your coming Kingdom, AMEN.

Wednesday Prayer Priority, 2 February
LORD JESUS CHRIST, guide us all in making and fulfilling decisions at the beginning of this new month. We pray for the supporters of our various ministries who are receiving emergency appeals at this time for the Tsunami outreaches which the Bray Family is assisting. And we pray for Support Team members who are getting invitations to attend the "Victory in Jesus" dinner to celebrate Bill's 40th Anniversary in missions this month. We praise you for the many answers to prayer in Lynchburg on Monday as Samuel Thomas and the Brays met with our growing communications team in Virginia, and we pray that each of them will be faithful and strong to help us create new magazines, newsletters and websites to serve native missions in India and around the world. All this we ask in your name because all glory, power and riches are yours, AMEN.
