LOVING GOD, supply all our needs this month and send us forth to India to mobilize another generation of Apostles of Hope who will begin the hope process afresh in the villages of India. Use us as Hopegivers to rescue children, the poor, the sick and the oppressed from the hand of evil. In
Jesus name, AMEN.
January 30, 2006 - Chicago Support Team
"Prayer Priority" Request for Monday, January 30, 2006
ABBA FATHER, we thank you for every individual, every church and pastor and every group that supports the Bray Family and Hopegivers International both on the mission fields and in the supporting countries but we especially pray today for our support team in Chicago. Bless them as they prepare for our coming this weekend and may they increase both in number and generosity. In Jesus' strong name we pray, AMEN.
January 29, 2006 - February Preparations Today!
"Prayer Priority" Request for Sunday, January 29, 2006
LORD JESUS, send us out as laborers in your harvest field and help us to send out others to the orphans of famine-stricken Africa and the streets of India. Be with Dr. Bill and Ivy today in church and all afternoon as they send out the February "Call to Prayer" with urgent invitations for deputation meetings and Hope Ambassador Briefings in Chicago and Dallas. Help us joyfully do the labor of being missionaries for Christ. In your name we pray, AMEN.
January 28, 2006 - Quiet Day in Columbus
"Prayer Priority" Request for Saturday, January 28, 2006
FAITHFUL WITNESS, restore peace of mind and renew the vision of Bill and Ivy Bray today as they take a quiet day to plan and prepare spiritually for the busy month of ministry that lies ahead in February. AMEN
January 27, 2006 - February busiest month of the year
"Prayer Priority" Request for Friday, January 27, 2006
BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR, make Dr. Bill and his team strong and wise as they plan for the busy month of February today. Help Bill to think like the director, not the manager of support-raising missions to Chicago and Dallas and media meetings at the NRB Convention. Guide in preparations for the giant graduation of our Sisters of Hope and Apostles of Hope from the seminary in Kota. Give us power and authority over the "to do" list and not bog down in the details. All this we ask in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen!
January 26, 2006 - Important Mike Glenn meeting today
"Prayer Priority" Request for Thursday, January 26, 2006
LORD OF LORDS, KING OF KINGS be with Dr. Sam and Dr. Bill as they meet with Executive Director Mike Glenn today in an important follow-up meeting to discuss Operation Africa Child 2006 and other urgent matters. Direct these men as they submit to Your authority in directing and leading the work of
God through Hopegivers based in Columbus. All this we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN and AMEN!
January 25, 2006 - Food for Starving Children of Malawi!
"Prayer Priority" Request for Wednesday, January 25, 2006
KING OF THE NATIONS, give Paul Moore of CitiHope favor with the Malawi Health Ministry and the World Food Program this week as he arranges food to feed at least 10,000 orphans a day in Africa as part of Operation Africa Child 2006 -- but even more Lord, we ask you to release into his hands and ours thousands of additional tons of grain and the funds to distribute the food so that we can speed up the Hopegivers Hope Process in Malawi. Help us Lord to distribute this food in love to the abandoned children so that their lives will be lengthened and your name will be glorified. In Jesus' Name we
pray, AMEN and AMEN and AMEN.
January 24, 2006 - Flying back to South Africa
"Prayer Priority" Request for Tuesday, January 24, 2006
AMAZING GOD OF WONDER, we praise you for accomplishing so much during this Operation Africa Child 2006 mission to Malawi and we pray that you will help Dr. Sam, Dr. Bill and the whole team to process and prioritize what has happened during their long journey home. Give them safety as they rise today
at 3:45 AM and travel all day to Central Malawi and onto South Africa and the USA. Help them to remember and faithfully fulfill all the promises made on this journey. Help them to keep the vows and covenants made with the starving children of Africa and the desperately needy during this mission,
and to present Your vision for the people of Africa to donors and friends in the USA, France and around the world. In the name of Jesus we pray, AMEN
January 23, 2006 - Six ministry points and Malawi partners banquet in one day!
"Prayer Priority" Request for Monday, January 23, 2006
LORD OUR STRENGTH AND SHIELD, bless Dr. Sam and the Operation Africa Child Team in Malawi today as they visit six local outreach partners to distribute medicine and food to the orphans and finally end the day with a fellowship banquet jointly sponsored by CitiHope and Hopegivers for all the local
leaders and staff. Especially give wisdom and guidance to the local Malawan attorney and church leadership as they continue three days of meetings form a legal Hopegivers International organization here to receive and account for the Hopegivers financial and material assistance. AMEN and AMEN and AMEN
January 21, 2006 - All Chiefs, No Indians
WHAT a contrast this mission team is from the one I led last month in India. Here we are all chiefs, meeting and negotiating with all local chiefs, clergy and dignitaries. It is amazing that we get anything done at all and quite an exercise to give God the glory! Last month I was the chief
along with a very humble co-leader and a group of student media workers who brought great humility and a teachable spirit to the group. At any rate, God is doing wonderful things and today we were able to deliver food and visit two orphanages as well as spend the morning negotiating with local church leaders and aid experts on the best way to save children's lives here. Praise the Lord that there is progress on every hand and all 20 containers of our medicines got through customs and will be turned over in the next two days to local hospitals -- over $400,000 worth of live-saving drugs, the first installment of over $1 million that is coming through Operation Africa Child 2006.
"Prayer Priority" Request for Saturday, January 21, 2006
GOD OUR STRENGTH, give an anointing to our words and deeds that in all we do we might represent you more perfectly, especially to those who preach and testify in various churches on Sunday morning -- particularly Dr. Sam and Pastor Steve, but to every member of the team. Be with us as we discuss the
Hopegivers vision with pastors, church leaders and various authorities here. Give us favor and wisdom in what we say and how we behave and may we not just operate in the three M's of past orphan rescue programs here (meals, medication and moral teaching) but introduce a fourth M -- the majesty of
Christ. AMEN and AMEN
January 20, 2006 - Pray for camera skills today!
"Prayer Priority" Request for Friday, January 20, 2006
GOD OF ALL POWER AND KNOWLEDGE, help Dr. Bill today as he has to use Nikon cameras with which he has little experience during intense coverage of visits by Dr. Sam and the team to orphanages and meetings with key African church leaders in Mizuzu, Malawi. AMEN
January 19, 2006 - Glorious Day and Age in South Africa
DR. SAM'S "Operation Africa Child 06" Hopegivers team couldn't have picked a finer day to arrive here in South Africa to rendezvous with Paul Moore's CitiHope team. It is a beautiful summer day and there is a feeling of marvelous racial harmony in the air here as Bishop Tutu's message of forgiveness and reconciliation is having a powerful affect on this land. Every year that I come back here things seem to be getting better and God is blessing this land.
Tomorrow morning, our whole Aid Delivery Team will meet each other for the first time at breakfast. From here we will load the medicines onto a plane flying into famine-stricken Malawi and fly to Lilongwe. Then we will convoy by truck into the Northern hills of Malawi where the Africa orphans
crisis and the famine is hitting hardest.
For the next three days we will be negotiating with local church leaders and officials of both the government and the NGO's to get more aid delivered this year. "This should not be seen as a day of crisis or disaster," Dr. Sam told our group, "but a time of opportunity for us to make a great change
and turn back this terrible epidemic and heal this land."
"Prayer Priority" Request for Friday, January 20, 2006
GOD OF WONDER, GOD OF PRAISE we adore you for answering our prayers and gathering the whole team with $400,000 in medicines and other aid in Johannesburg, South Africa today. Bless the whole team as they meet for the first time tomorrow at breakfast and go to the airport to board planes and take ground transportation all day to Mizuzu, Northern Malawi. We pray for all the medicine to get safely through customs and everyone to arrive safe and sound and have a powerful time of bonding with the African and
international staff of CitiHope and the local churches. AMEN and AMEN

"Prayer Priority" Request for Thursday, January 5, 2006
JEHOVAH JIREH, our provider, we finally unite to pray that you will bless Dr. Bill and his family and team with every spiritual blessing starting with wisdom. May he be anointed afresh with wisdom beginning this year and right unto the end of his ministry. May Dr. Bill and his team not forget your law but keep your commandments, always inclining their ears unto wisdom and applying their hearts to understanding. Lord Jesus we acknowledge YOU as the source of sound wisdom, righteousness and every good path. Fill Dr. Bill with your Holy Spirit this year and help him to always behave as a man of
God controlled by the Sprit rather than by pride or the flesh. AMEN and AMEN!
January 4, 2006 - Fourfold Annual Blessing for 2006 (Part III)
"Prayer Priority" Request for Wednesday, January 4, 2006
JEHOVAH JIREH, our provider, we unite in faith-believing prayer for blessings on the Brays in the mental areas of their lives and ministries. May the Brays not be given a spirit of fear but of a sound mind. May Dr. Bill always be objective and clear-eyed in evaluation of criticism, people, situations and reports. May he have discernment to spot the lies of the devil and the devices and deceits of all his demons. May right thoughts always proceed from the heart of the Brays and all their staff since actions proceed from the heart. Finally, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report: if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise help the Brays to think on these things. AMEN and AMEN.
January 3, 2006 - Fourfold Annual Blessing, Part II (Social)
"Prayer Priority" Request for Tuesday, January 3, 2006
JEHOVAH JIREH, our provider, we ask for the second of four areas of blessing on the Bray Family Missionary Ministry in 2006, this time for social blessings on their relationships with others at church, community, family and work:
(1) May the Bray's relationships with their own local churches in
Columbus flourish as well as with churches around the world.
(2) May their witness and relationship with neighbors and friends expand,
especially at the health club and other places where they interact with the world.
(3) May family reunions with the Sanchez' be possible in the Philippines
soon and for the Brays in the USA this July 4th at Williamsburg.
(4) May networking expand at fellowship organizations such as the NRB Convention, Moody Alumni Week and in our workplace relations in Columbus and around the world -- both with fellow staff as well as with co-workers in partner agencies and ministries.
May they have favor with friends and foes alike, giving glory to you in
all they do. All this we ask in the Name of Jesus, AMEN and AMEN.
January 2, 2006 - Fourfold Annual 2006 Blessing, Part I (Physical)
"Prayer Priority" Request for Monday, January 2, 2006
JEHOVAH JIREH, our provider, we ask for a fourfold blessing on the Bray Family Missionary Ministry in 2006 starting with physical blessings. Provide the missing furniture for their house, extra travel expenses, and every physical need for the family in order that they might be free to focus on the ministry. For health we pray for Bill and Ivy as they condition their bodies, that they might eat right and exercise to lose fat and gain muscle to better serve you. Bless their counselors, doctors and trainers and give them wisdom for divine healing and strength. Keep disease away and may they
run and not be weary, rising up on eagle's wings to do your will. May they lend to the needy and not borrow, living free from debt of every kind both short and long-term. AMEN and AMEN!
January 1, 2006 - A doctor for the Bray family
"Prayer Priority" Request for Sunday, January 1, 2006
JEHOVAH-JIREH, our provider, as we look over the fresh, unspoiled pages of our 2006 diaries we pray that you will provide the grace for us to always write good things. May the confessions we have to make be few and quick, may our relationships be sweet, grant us favor with friend and foe, and may
every need be met quickly. In particular we immediately pray that we will find a good Christian doctor in Columbus who will take us without medical insurance. May he really love us, be a man of faith, and have the wisdom needed to address our health needs perfectly. For this and every other need in the New Year, we now pray. AMEN and AMEN
