For over 30 years Dr. Bray has used the YWAM Prayer and Planning Diary as a way to stay on track with his personal piety and as a prayer guide for the whole team. "Next to the Bible, this is the most life-changing devotional book I have ever used," says Dr. Bray. "It takes you right into the heart of Jesus for the lost world-it is like walking with God. NEW IN THIS FALL, 2008 ISSUE…

Welcome to the Bray Family Missionary Web Ministry Site,

This is YOUR ministry. We still want to make in more interactive with you as we wrap up 2008 and begin 2009.  So watch between now and New Year’s as we do a quick makeover to make things more current, more urgent, and more in touch with your daily needs, our current missionaries, and the current CIS projects that deal a lot with the growing economic and spiritual crisis right here in the USA.  To strengthen our international outreach, we have to deal with the serious sins, judgments and consequences here at home.

However, as you will see, CIS is still focused mostly all nations – but we are limiting that global concern to Overseas Students Mission, where Bill also serves as president.

This fall, our News Feature focus will be on ending the year in the black and the campaign to underwrite support for our 2009 Budget.

In the Views column, watch for our 2008 Thanksgiving Report and then as we get nearer and nearer to the New Year, we will present our “Giants in the Land for 2009 – Trends in Missions Analysis.”  Please watch for these two think pieces that I hope will give you a lot of insight into the opportunities and challenges we are facing right now.

My vision for 2009 is that this website will be more and more personal with more news about the Bray Family but grow more professional as I share things that are on my heart which only our inner circle, Board of Directors, and staff are usually most concerned about.  I think we can do both and we owe it to you, our most faithful prayer partner and supporter.

We welcome your feedback and questions anytime. Write to me personally at bray.william@gmail.com and we will try to reply ASAP. Know that I am prayerfully reading over every letter, every email and every prayer request that you send.

Remember, YOU are as much a part of this ministry as I am!

God bless you as you wrap up 2008 and prepare for 2009,

Bill Bray for Ivy and the CIS Team
